I received my bachelors in Sociology from the University of California Santa Barbara and received my Masters in Social Work from California State University San Bernardino.  I hold a special certification as a social service designee with experience in treating the geriatric population.  I am also Trauma Focused CBT trained which is ideal for children who have experienced trauma. In addition, I also have extensive HIV/AIDS research and training in providing culturally sensitive micro practice with African Americans and women of color.
